2026-8-241. Coolant selection
Use qualified antifreeze coolant specially for diesel engines. Do not use raw water (tap water, river water) directly, which is easy to produce scale and block the water channel. Mix the coolant strictly according to the proportion required by the unit manual.
2. Filling requirements
Fill the coolant when the engine is cooled down. Never open the radiator cover when the unit is hot, high‑temperature hot water will spray out and cause scald injury. Do not overfill, reserve a proper expansion space.
3. Daily inspection
Regularly check the liquid level of the radiator, check for water leakage at water pipes, joints and water tank welding seams. Check whether the radiator fins are blocked by dust, catkins and debris. Clean the fins in time if blocked to avoid high‑temperature alarm of the unit.
4. Cleaning and descaling
Scale will be accumulated after long‑term operation. Regularly clean the internal water channel of the water tank. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents at will to prevent corrosion of the water tank body.
5. Radiator cover
Keep the radiator cover in good condition. A damaged sealing ring will cause insufficient system pressure, resulting in coolant boiling and water loss.
6. Fan and air duct
Check the cooling fan, fan belt tension and air duct sealing. Poor fan performance or air leakage will lead to poor heat dissipation and overheating fault.
7. Antifreeze in winter
In low‑temperature environment in winter, ensure the freezing point of coolant is lower than the local minimum ambient temperature. If the unit is out of service for a long time, drain all coolant completely to prevent the water tank from frost cracking.
8. Installation & surrounding environment
Keep the air inlet and outlet of the radiator unobstructed. Do not stack sundries around. Hot air shall not circulate back to the air‑inlet side of the unit, otherwise it will cause continuous high temperature.
9. Prohibited operations
Do not arbitrarily remove the radiator shielding net or block part of the heat‑dissipation fins. Do not replace the water tank with non‑mismatched model, which will lead to insufficient heat‑dissipation capacity.
